Seattle Vessel Salvage & Recovery

Recently, our dive team was called in to assist with the recovery of a derelict vessel that had sunk in Seattle waters. The vessel presented navigational and environmental concerns, requiring a controlled, methodical salvage operation.

After an initial site assessment, our divers stabilized the hull, rigged lift points, and carefully brought the vessel back to the surface using flotation and controlled buoyancy techniques. Once refloated, the vessel was safely dewatered, secured, and removed from the waterway for transport and disposal.

Salvage operations like this demand more than just lift capacity—they require planning, coordination, and an experienced dive team that understands how to manage unstable structures, limited visibility, and active marine environments without creating additional risk.

Enviro-Tech Diving routinely supports emergency and non-emergency marine response efforts throughout the Pacific Northwest, including providing professional underwater services and vessel salvage operations that help keep waterways safe, navigable, and compliant.

If you’re dealing with a submerged or derelict vessel, damaged infrastructure, or another underwater challenge, our team is ready to assist— competently, efficiently, and safely.
