Emergency Saltwater Intake Cleaning

Timely Response and Thorough Inspection to Restore Intake Line Efficiency

In False Pass, Alaska, a fish processing plant faced a critical issue with two of its saltwater intake lines. These lines are essential for their daily operations, ensuring that they have a consistent and clean flow of seawater for processing. A sudden clog and debris build-up threatened production, causing a significant disruption to operations.

Enviro-Tech Diving’s emergency response team was deployed immediately to carry out a thorough cleaning of the intake lines. Our divers conducted an internal cleaning of the intake lines, using specialized tools designed for flushing the lines and removing any marine growth or blockages. After completing the flushing process, we conducted a video inspection to ensure the lines were fully cleared and functional.

This emergency cleaning service allowed the plant to avoid costly downtime and potential damage to the intake infrastructure. With a focus on maintaining operational efficiency and minimizing downtime, we were able to quickly restore functionality to the intake lines. Our thorough inspection provided peace of mind, ensuring that the lines were not only clean but also in optimal condition for future use.
