ROV Inspections

Our advanced remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) provide high-definition imaging for dock, pipeline, and seafloor surveys—enhancing efficiency and safety.

What We Offer

Capabilities of Our ROV Inspection Services

Our fleet of portable and versatile ROVs is equipped with HD video cameras, lighting systems, navigation aids, and sampling tools. They are routinely deployed to assist in or independently conduct:

  • Seafloor Surveys – For environmental assessments, habitat mapping, or waste discharge monitoring.
  • Pipeline Inspections – Internal and external reviews of underwater intakes, discharges, and HDPE or steel pipelines.
  • Dock, Pier & Sheet Pile Wall Inspections – Structural assessments for marinas, ferry terminals, and commercial harbors.
  • Salvage Operations – Used to locate and assess submerged vessels or debris before mobilizing divers or lift equipment.
  • Ships Husbandry – Inspections of hull conditions, sea chests, propellers, and rudders for maintenance and compliance.
  • Dam & Bridge Inspections – Non-invasive reviews of submerged components to support engineering evaluations and safety reviews.

Recent Projects Using ROV Technology

  • Deepwater Environmental Survey – Deployed to a depth of over 250 feet in support of an EPA-approved seafloor monitoring project. The ROV collected video footage, seabed samples, and GPS-tagged mapping data, where diving was not feasible due to extreme depth and current.
  • Subsea Pipeline Inspection in Remote Alaska – Conducted a comprehensive inspection of a 1,500-foot-long, 130-foot-deep discharge line for a seafood processing facility. The ROV assessed pipeline integrity, anode conditions, and flow obstructions—delivering critical video and location data used to guide repair planning.

Precision in Challenging Conditions

Enviro-Tech’s ROVs allow us to work in conditions where divers cannot safely operate—such as extreme depths, strong currents, contaminated water, or confined areas. These tools extend our operational capabilities and provide our clients with a clearer picture of what’s happening beneath the surface.

ROVs are especially valuable when depth, visibility, or environmental conditions limit traditional dive operations. Our team combines real-time video feeds, GPS geolocation, and sonar mapping to deliver detailed reporting and accurate documentation—helping clients make informed decisions about underwater infrastructure, repairs, and regulatory compliance.
