Ships Husbandry

Reduce downtime and avoid costly dry docks with professional underwater maintenance and inspection services.

What We Offer

In-Water Hull Inspections

Our team performs detailed hull inspections above and below the waterline using both diver-led visual methods and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). Divers are trained to assess underwater paint condition, marine growth accumulation, corrosion, pitting, and physical damage. We also evaluate rudder integrity, propeller condition, thrusters, and sea chests. Our thorough documentation helps owners make informed maintenance decisions and avoid unexpected failures.

Underwater Coating & Paint Application

We apply Hycote 151 and other advanced underwater coatings to reduce corrosion and extend hull life. Our divers are trained to apply protective coatings in wet environments for long-lasting results.

Nondestructive Testing (NDT) & Technical Inspections

  • Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) – Measures steel loss and hull integrity.
  • Propeller Roughness Testing – Identifies surface irregularities affecting efficiency.
  • Anode Inspection – Verifies functionality of cathodic protection systems.

Maintenance & Repairs

  • Propeller Services: Grooming, polishing, and replacements to restore vessel performance and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Hull & Sea Chest Cleaning: Removal of marine growth and sediment to improve cooling efficiency and water intake flow.
  • Anode Installation: Expert installation and replacement of sacrificial anodes for long-term corrosion protection.
  • Welding & Burning: Underwater welding and cutting by certified divers for structural repairs and emergency fixes.
  • Cofferdam Installation & Removal: Safe and secure dry access for maintenance of intakes, valves, and other submerged components.
