Pre-Inspection UAV Survey

In the remote and dynamic environment of Bristol Bay, a new waterfront plant development required precise planning and early-stage visibility to ensure successful construction in a challenging coastal setting. To support this effort, a pre-inspection UAV survey was conducted to capture high-resolution aerial data of the project area. With shifting tides, variable weather, and sensitive environmental conditions, this early data collection was critical for identifying site constraints and ensuring informed decision-making before construction began.

Enviro-Tech Diving was brought in to conduct a comprehensive aerial drone survey of the project area. Utilizing high-resolution imaging, photogrammetry, and advanced mapping techniques, our team captured detailed site data along the shoreline and adjacent waters. This included shoreline conditions, staging access points, elevation profiles, and potential obstructions that could impact both marine and landside construction activities. The resulting data sets provided stakeholders with accurate visuals and mapping outputs to support engineering design, permitting requirements, and overall project planning.

By leveraging UAV technology, we were able to safely and efficiently survey large, remote areas in a fraction of the time required by traditional ground-based methods. This approach minimized environmental disturbance while maximizing data accuracy, giving project teams a clear and reliable understanding of existing site conditions before mobilization.

Operating in remote Alaska demands adaptability, precision, and the right tools for the job. When conditions are too rough to safely deploy divers, submersible ROVs and UAV drones allow Enviro-Tech Diving to maintain productivity and continue delivering results. Whether above or below the waterline, our team provides dependable, technology-driven solutions designed to meet the challenges of some of the most demanding environments in the field.
