Removal of Old Steel Pipeline

Safely Removing Outdated Infrastructure with Underwater Cutting and Surveying

In Sandpoint, Alaska, an aging steel pipeline at a fish processing plant required removal to make way for a more efficient and modern system. The task involved underwater cutting and salvaging of the old pipeline, along with a seafloor survey to ensure that the area was cleared of any remaining materials.

Enviro-Tech Diving deployed our specialized equipment and team to carry out the operation. Using underwater cutting tools, we carefully removed the steel pipeline, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding environment. A thorough seafloor survey was conducted afterward to verify that all materials were removed and that the area was clear for future use.

The project was completed on time and within budget, ensuring that the plant could continue its operations without delay.
